The PASS QUEST SRAM 8-Bolt AERO Mountain Narrow-Wide Chainring is precision CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T651 aluminum alloy.

Featuring an enclosed AERO structure, an extended 8.5 mm tooth profile, and carefully optimized hollowed-out details, this chainring is designed to deliver reliable chain retention and excellent structural rigidity while minimizing unnecessary weight.

Offset Options and Frame Compatibility

This chainring is available with different offset options to accommodate different crankset and frame configurations.

• 3 mm Offset: Designed for compatible Boost frame setups.

• 6 mm Offset: Available for the 142 mm frame configuration specified for this product.

• 0 mm Offset: An alternative option for setups requiring a different chainline or additional frame clearance, depending on the crankset and chainring size.

Important: The correct offset depends on your crankset, frame geometry, chainline, and required chainring size. An incorrect offset may cause chainstay interference or insufficient clearance.

Installation Instructions

Two small positioning marks on the back of the chainring indicate the crank-facing side.

During installation:

1. Identify the two positioning marks on the back of the chainring.

2. Position the marked side toward the crank.

3. Rotate the chainring into the correct mounting position.

4. Secure the chainring using the appropriate mounting hardware.

Required Installation Tool: T25 Torx Tool.
