PASS QUEST F107-Q 2x AERO Chainring Set – SRAM Force -Quarq 107 BCD
Precision Shifting. Lightweight Construction. Engineered for Performance.
The PASS QUEST F107-Q 2x Chainring Set is precision CNC-machined from a solid plate of high-strength 7075 aluminum alloy.
Featuring a carefully optimized tooth profile, specially designed shifting pins, and precisely positioned shifting ramps, this matched chainring set is engineered to deliver smooth and reliable front shifting.
The rear structure is hollowed out and chamfered to reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining the rigidity required for demanding road and gravel riding.
Key Features
1. Precision CNC-Machined Construction
Manufactured from high-strength 7075 aluminum alloy using precision CNC machining, the chainring set combines structural rigidity with a lightweight design.
The reverse side features extensive hollowing and carefully machined chamfers to reduce unnecessary material without compromising structural integrity.
2. Smooth and Reliable Shifting – Over 30 Rounds of Testing
We conducted more than 30 rounds of testing and refinement, carefully optimizing:
These refinements are designed to improve chain engagement and promote smoother transitions between the large and small chainrings.
The design has also undergone evaluation by experienced riders and testers to help refine its shifting performance.
3. Refined Anodized Surface Finish
7075 aluminum alloy presents challenges during the anodizing process.
Through multiple rounds of prototyping and surface-finishing adjustments, we refined the anodizing process to achieve a more consistent finish, improved surface appearance, and enhanced resistance to everyday wear and corrosion.
4. Lightweight Hollowed-Out Design
Extensive hollowing and chamfering help reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining the structural rigidity required for reliable drivetrain performance.
The carefully designed structure balances weight reduction, strength, and refined appearance.
5. Specially Designed Shifting Pins and Ramps
The specially shaped shifting pins and optimized shifting ramps are designed to guide the chain during front shifting.
These features help improve chain pickup and engagement, supporting smoother and more consistent gear changes.
6. Countersunk Mounting Structure
The precision-engineered countersunk structure helps position the chainrings accurately and provides a secure mounting interface.
Its integrated design also creates a cleaner installation appearance and helps minimize unwanted movement and noise when correctly installed.
Important: Original PASS QUEST Matched Pair Required
The large and small chainrings are precision-matched and designed to work together as a complete PASS QUEST 2x chainring set.
Both chainrings must be used together as the original PASS QUEST matched pair.
Do not mix chainrings from different brands or combine incompatible tooth combinations. Doing so may result in poor shifting performance, unreliable gear changes, or drivetrain compatibility issues.
For optimal shifting performance, always use the complete original PASS QUEST 2x chainring set.

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to correctly align the chainrings:
-
Position the Large Chainring: Align the positioning pin on the large chainring directly beneath the crank arm.
-
Align the Small Chainring: Position the alignment mark on the small chainring directly beneath the crank arm.
-
Align the Mounting Holes: Match the countersunk holes with the corresponding chainring bolt positions.
-
Secure the Chainrings: Install the mounting bolts and tighten them evenly according to the recommended torque specifications.
Check that both chainrings are correctly aligned before completing installation.
Mounting Bolts and Tightening Torque
Standard mounting bolts are provided free of charge.
Recommended Tightening Torque: 6–8 N·m
Excessive tightening torque may damage the bolts, threads, or mounting components.
Use an appropriate torque wrench and follow the crankset manufacturer's installation instructions.
