PASS QUEST Narrow-Wide Chainring
Built for High-Power Riding
When every watt counts, chainring stiffness matters. Designed for riders who demand reliable performance under high pedaling loads, the PASS QUEST chainring combines precision CNC machining, high-strength aluminum alloy, and a carefully optimized tooth profile.
Key Features
1. 0 mm Offset Design
The 0 mm offset design helps maintain the intended chainline when paired with a compatible crankset and drivetrain setup.
A properly aligned chainline can help reduce unnecessary drivetrain friction and support efficient power transfer.
2. Precision CNC-Machined 7075-T651 Aluminum Alloy
Machined from 7075-T651 aluminum alloy using precision CNC milling, this chainring is engineered to provide a strong, lightweight structure with high rigidity.
The material combines high strength with good fatigue resistance, making it suitable for demanding riding conditions.
3. Anodized Finish
The anodized surface enhances the chainring's appearance while improving corrosion resistance.
The refined finish helps maintain its appearance through regular use and riding conditions.
4. High Rigidity for Sprinting
During high-power efforts, a chainring is subjected to substantial pedaling forces, including lateral loads during out-of-the-saddle sprinting.
PASS QUEST focuses on structural rigidity to help the chainring maintain its shape under demanding loads, supporting consistent drivetrain performance during sprints and sustained high-power efforts.
Compared with carbon fiber chainrings, this aluminum alloy design offers a different balance of stiffness, strength, weight, and material characteristics. Actual performance depends on the specific products being compared.
5. Optimized Tooth Profile
The tooth profile is carefully designed to promote secure chain engagement and consistent chain retention.
The optimized tooth tips are intended to help minimize unwanted chain noise and friction during operation.
Compatible Cranksets
Please confirm the exact crankset model and mounting interface before ordering.
Recommended Applications
-
Time Trial (TT)
-
Triathlon
-
High-speed road sprints
Important Compatibility Notes
1. Single-Chainring Setup Only
This narrow-wide chainring is designed for 1x drivetrain configurations only. It is not intended for 2x setups and does not support front shifting between chainrings.
2. Chainring Thickness and 12-Speed Chain Compatibility
Chainring thickness: 5 mm.
If you plan to use a 12-speed chain, please verify compatibility with the chain and quick link. If required for your specific setup, use a compatible KMC 12-speed quick link instead of the original Shimano quick link.
3. Precision Installation Components
Chainring bolts are precision components. Improper installation or excessive tightening torque may damage the bolts or chainring mounting interface.
Please follow the applicable crankset manufacturer's installation instructions and recommended torque specifications. Damage caused by improper installation may not be covered under warranty.
