PASS QUEST Narrow-Wide Chainring
Built for Stiffness. Engineered for Performance.
Designed for demanding riders, the PASS QUEST Narrow-Wide Chainring combines precision CNC machining, high-strength 7075-T651 aluminum alloy, and an optimized tooth profile to deliver reliable performance under high pedaling loads.
Whether you're powering through flat sprints, pushing hard during time trials, or competing in triathlons, this chainring is engineered to provide a stable, efficient drivetrain setup.
Key Features
1. Precision CNC-Machined 7075-T651 Aluminum Alloy
Machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T651 aluminum alloy, this chainring offers an excellent balance of strength, rigidity, and weight. Its precision-machined construction is designed to withstand demanding riding conditions and repeated high-load use.
2. Optimized for Lateral Stiffness
During hard efforts and flat-out sprints, a chainring must withstand substantial pedaling forces and lateral loads. PASS QUEST focuses on structural rigidity to help minimize flex under high loads, supporting consistent power transfer when every pedal stroke counts.
3. 0 mm Offset for a Straighter Chainline
The 0 mm offset design helps position the chainring for a straighter chainline with a compatible drivetrain setup. A well-aligned chainline can help reduce unnecessary chain articulation and friction, contributing to smoother and more efficient drivetrain operation.
Note: Actual chainline depends on the crankset, frame, and drivetrain configuration.
4. Optimized Narrow-Wide Tooth Profile
The specially optimized narrow-wide tooth profile is designed to engage more closely with the chain, helping improve chain retention and reduce the risk of chain drops during demanding rides.
The tooth profile is also designed to minimize unnecessary contact between the chain and tooth tips, helping reduce chain noise when the drivetrain is properly adjusted.
5. Durable Anodized Finish
The anodized surface provides a refined appearance and helps protect the aluminum against corrosion and everyday wear. It also helps maintain the chainring's finish over repeated use.

Crankset Compatibility
Designed for compatible Shimano road cranksets, including:
Important: Please verify your crankset model, chainring mounting interface, bolt pattern, and chainline requirements before ordering. Compatibility may vary by chainring size and drivetrain configuration.
Important Compatibility Notes
1. 1x Drivetrain Only
This narrow-wide chainring is designed for single-chainring (1x) setups. It is not suitable for 2x double-chainring configurations and is not intended for use with a front derailleur for front shifting.
2. 12-Speed Chain Compatibility
The chainring has a thickness of 5 mm. If you plan to use it with a 12-speed Shimano chain, please verify chain compatibility and follow the confirmed installation instructions for your specific drivetrain before ordering. If a compatible KMC 12-speed quick link is required for your setup, use the appropriate model specified by the chain manufacturer.
3. Installation and Chainring Bolts
Chainring bolts are precision components that require correct installation and tightening torque. Improper installation or overtightening may damage the components. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered by the warranty.
Need a Different Version?
We also offer an X110 BCD version of this chainring for compatible power-meter or spider-crank setups, as well as chainring options for compatible Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200 and Ultegra FC-R8100 cranksets.
