The G110BCD chainring is CNC-machined from a single piece of aluminum, featuring precision thinning and chamfering to reduce weight while maintaining strength. With extended tooth profiles, it securely holds the chain in place—even under intense vibration—effectively preventing chain drops.
We patiently polished the tooth shape
the position of the upper chain pin
and the orientation of the lower chain slot to eliminate chain noise
reduce wear, and provide smooth operation for the entire riding system
The sprocket has been proofread and adjusted many times
and has good fit. While reducing the weight as much as possible
it still maintains sufficient rigidity to meet the needs of daily riding and competition.
To reduce weight,
we applied extensive thinning throughout the chainring
This design not only enhances its appearance and lightness
but also maintains the rigidity needed for reliable performance
The GRX series has small holes
Ordinary X110 cranks (5800/6800/9000, etc.)
and power meter claws cannot be used
7075 aluminum is known to be challenging for anodizing
To overcome this we conducted multiple rounds of prototyping
to ensure the chainring is well-protected against mechanical impact—while also delivering an exceptional surface finish and tactile feel on every piece
